happy holidays Olympians it's Eli Ross and welcome to  TV they're going to go down. Anyways episode off with some positive energy by doing so they're spreading positivity and helping our school safe. is a little more uneasy as recycling program part of the UCA club and this year we started recycling as in that we've been assigning bins or giving up into the teachers that accept them and every Friday we collected the reason we started recycling this year is because it's one of the basic fundamentals of trying to live more sustainably in being more environmentally responsible the benefits of it are obviously know we got a financial you know we got a bit of money back from me which we can use for a club to know what the  kind of throw a bands or parties or even give out scholarships are students then they also kind of allow us just to give us a little bit more money so we can try and spread the awareness of Jacob a little bit more by you know kind of funny things at every student can take part of not just CCA students are landfills are overcrowded and the way that is there a run is disgusting most people don't think about it think out the Posse bottle is just as me anything go to trash once it goes in a trash can and it has to be increases the weights you know like of all the trash and I know you know I can so all that I have to be kind of picked up driving off in some huge truck to some landfill we're just going to sit there longer than any of us will be here pretty high and that's only for the people who recycle we get about Ali 8 to 10 bags and it does make an impact a lot of people don't like appreciate what we do with a lot of teachers are kind of annoyed with us collecting recyclables but over time he's learned to gain the teachers trust and they're starting to have a mutual respect for us which is great because this is something that we're going to do year after year after year and we're seniors we're going to leave it's nice to build those bonds the teachers some kids tend to like laugh because they collecting like trash like garbage man or something but it's more like we're doing something for the environment so it might not be like the most appealing thing students really aren't that respectful teacher try to facilitated but I don't see them actually dedicating time to educate their students because we find stuff like trash in there the lunch messed is in the recycling and more often than not we find ourselves cleaning up other people's mess I definitely believe that as a school we can recycle more and I think one of the ways that we can do so is by Ashley and acting out these initiatives because people are not empathize with the importance of recycling that's why we have this program so that we can the school is not doing so I'm scared that if people are thinking it's too much work then people are going to stop helping collect Recycling and we're going to go back to not recycling at all with all of that being said anybody can come recycle Miss trans room at f203 we extended offer out to admit students especially because they can get community service hours which I know all of you guys need but this also goes for anybody else on campus come be an Olympian and help your GPA Academy Michael special full swing and losing Athletics and looking pretty good this year boys basketball is kicked off their season and are fighting like some real competition so far have quite a Victoria's first half of their season wow dominating arrivals the Hawthorne cougars funny Stoner playlist Olympians we sat down with both teams to talk about their season so let's check out the segments a voice Ross I'm a senior and I'm a guard on the varsity basketball team hey when is deer island on the sophomore and I'm going guard for losing your girls basketball team tell my brother is by me to play basketball because he was just so passionate when he was a teenager like he was really competitive and I felt like I could be like him one day and so like he just you don't practice with me and stuff and I just fell in love with the game we have like a lot of competition in our league and stuff so we have to work harder at to get to the championship competing is is just the way of the game like if you don't compete it's like why are you playing the game like you always have to pee when you coming back or you always got to feel like you're better than everybody else if they are better this is it gives you motivate motivation my favorite sports quote is hard work and dedication Talent when talent doesn't work hard this quote is very inspiring to me is because people were very talented usually don't work hard but the people who are like low like don't have as much talent funny work hard everyday they that they tend to pass. who are talented and then it's like they get they get people that look at them or because they're working hard to sell the person that talented they could just do whatever because they just that food I can't play I school basketball anymore but I'm looking forward to playing in college advice future student-athletes is be on top of your school work because your school work is more than more important than playing basket if your top of your school work then there's no way cause causes look at you no matter how good you are always feel like it's your last day because then that's more than everybody else on your team to be to be as enthusiastic As You Are my name is Coast Guard here at Leuzinger High School 32 lb for Leuzinger High School to my name is Armand Anderson's play the one or the two I have a lot of new guys on his team summer Turner's for sure proud of my returners for sure those my guys with the new guy they always a part of my family and like I said the goal is for them to go to college driving to do on the court and onion classroom my personal goals this season is to help my team reach a state championship my personal goals this season is to win league and to make it has the round of playoffs in making steak Saltine I was coaching affected your life Wells it's it's been basketball all my life played basketball at the high school level, slow came into coaching High School like I said I've been doing it for 13 years now so it is my life my life has been a part of my life. I was I was young entertainers identify this team has a lot to me and my guys have a lot of good relationships on and off the court so it's really means a lot important is it for you to play on this team is very important I should have basketball happy to play family very close to me they teach me everyday just to be a better plan APUSH meter to feet I mean sorry not sorry we could you know hang out his family members and egg and probably these my brothers and I'm going to war with let's talk about soccer our girls soccer team which is built up of mostly underclassmen has shown some inspiring schools. Come together and hope to finish with a winning season sup my name is Brandon Montoya on number 10 for the Leuzinger Varsity soccer team Hernandez Varsity goalkeeper AKA Pablo and imma let back for the soccer team make it far TGIF and be personally McPlay off play Chris play some Lady and obviously beating Londa a mango is just to go out there and play get every game and stay focused Jamaica far put us on the map great potential we have a great group of individuals then we if we all come together we can go over before we had a pretty good teams you bought every game we play take it take every game on my one feel like we have a really good connection between our players and we have a really good bond between each other I'm Natalie I'm the captain for the girls soccer varsity team and I'm a junior we've had a little trouble but we're going to get there we have a really strong team we just need the confidence and continue working as a team to keep going and start winning more games we do a lot of things together so it's not just during soccer that we hang out we hang out a lot of the times outside of school when we go out we go out to eat with you like a lot of things weather so it's never just during the game so during season it's always outside to spell regardless we should always like keep pushing and like making the effort because I can just relax cuz I have people depending on me and then I have to like always try to everything come the goals for the season is probably to get as many as one as we can talk it to get a lot of when's the season and always keep pushing as a team as a family that we are also hope that we can make it to JF system for my senior year cuz I know that we have a strong team and we have a lot of good girls on the team captain and a junior we all get along each day we get closer each day we work pretty hard to and we don't give up Lankenau for just a big family and I love them all really good I feel like I've become better as a player and is my first year as Captain so I'm hoping and I motivate them and I'm there for them to like to keep them pushing I feel like I have to be confident so they could be coughing and feel better about themselves and in and out the field we have a new reoccurring segments called Extreme Olympians check it out I'm here at Leuzinger High School with some extreme Olympian skateboard I'm here with Anthony how do you ride a skateboard Pacers but you get out of the house how long have you been skateboard freshman year what made you get into skateboarding like that you know just like spending time with this guy what is the hardest skateboard trick for you to do that I'm not even know tricks extreme Olympia skateboarders at Leuzinger just got in that fanny pack my guy Christian Olsen watch over class it distracts you and your piercing doing your class work and is disrespectful to your teacher so please stay off your phones you're right recent scientific Studies have found that excessive meeting use on phone has a negative impact on was Health real life relationships in academic achievement friends officially banned smartphones and all public schools for students under 16 for these reasons people use of social media links to anxiety depression loneliness addiction and I lost an ability to phone do you send a lot of time thinking about social media do you feeling crazy urges to check social media do you get Restless if you're unable to do social media had your use of social media had a negative impact on your studies if you answer yes to any of these it might be time to consider a simple change like adjusting notifications or maybe a full on social media hiatus I'm guessing I'm Fredo is everything you know are clothing brand crate longer needed something like that we both love to do and then designing was at my house first time like everything my eyes and I was just like prank calling Brandon from there like we just fought colors in different colors and went to designs and then from designs and went to the Sheraton Now We're Here told me just like I said in my room just thinking of a design we kind of just replied to hit up the dude who makes the church for us can I print it usually takes like around like 2 weeks and making sure my Inspirations is Ian Connor and playboi carti Tyler the Creator and a young designer named John Ross plaza bar he's got the Genesis anime character I'm Sasuke and I'm really into that I know a lot of people like why are closed because they really actually like to design and not just cuz like it's like always chasing Fredo's ran wasn't lazy but we kind of was what is a like just the fact your mindset into a brand-new like you got to be ready with everything but I don't know to our word that we say we're going to job we got to drop that day we can't like slack on that there was a problem with the really good feeling it's something that you design cuz we're definitely satisfied with work right now like her two teenagers I think we made it pretty far we've had like multiple jobs in office S1 without a lot of like people like ASAP Bari get our stuff so like a lot of Transformations already noticing that so it's cool if I years old I don't like relocated to Atlanta and then from Atlanta just worldwide and we wanted to be for everybody advice.
