This video shows how to combine clips from different camera angles and sync the audio.

okay you guys here's an updated version of the demo on multicam this is something we use for LTV for are you use when you have two cameras recamaras and you want to use audio primarily from One camera like how we have a microphone we have good sound coming from the main camera beside camera here  she's holding the microphone but as you notice it's attached to the other I'm around so it's going to be the factory microphone on this second camera so sick of you not as great of audio so that's something why we why it's going to sink both these clips out based on Audio Waves so you have to have audio on both cameras even if it's good quality or the software will find Nadia waves and match it so here we go first step is I threw in an extra clip in here right here just so you could see yeah multiple clips here and you need to isolate the two or three clips that you're using if you have two camera angles and you're going to isolate the two clips I have a duplicate one Sci-Fi show you how to isolate your Clips so the first step is you got to rename your clips that you want so you click on it and you can do call one  the cop yet come and see  and miles to go over to here  writ says video family time video I'm going to click on  info I'm a go down and I already earlier name that's the camera one  camera one okay so that's normal go back to video and I'm going to use this one cuz going to rename this camera already did it earlier I guess that's camera to camera and we're good so the reason I did that is cuz you may have multiple clips multiple takes we we read UL TV like 4 times so there's all these potential Zicam clip so what you do is you find them ones you like usually it so your last take and then you click here and you search and I name both of them starting with Cam I mean I do Cam that isolates and got rid of  that other clip that I was not using so my two clips are here I'm in a highlight in both  I'm going to go to file new MultiCam clip file new MultiCam can I call it a demo and now it's making it it went really fast cuz it's just like a less than a minute video if it's a Gala TV it's like 20-something minutes it can take 10 minutes or even longer and the longer the video the longer it takes so this is a multi-cam clip based on you can see this little cube in the top left corner that's the signal of the the logo for multicam clip so now we got to start a project so I'm going to call it  demo so we got a timeline that we have a project so now I'm going to bring my  multicam clip down here and what's different is we have our normal what's an everything I want to hide that in I just want to work on the multicam Clips I'm going to go to window  hide browser so we have just the big window and now the next septa speak over here Rainier View drop down show angles show angles we have to Tangles right now  if you had more you can change it to four angles plus the more angles you have the slower the computers going to go anyways here we go notice it's We Didn't Start exactly the same time this cameras black and this one step on it so I'm going to move the timeline over till we have  two things here so now both cameras have picture so remember camera one as you see has the microphone straight on and that's the one we're talking into okay so I'm going to want to want to use the audio from that one so up here is a picture of a film strip and some sound just a film strip and just sound if you had an MP3 clip or something you could just use sound but here I'm going to take the sound and the draft and I know I'm that click on the main camera  you want to have your cursor at the beginning of your thing when you make that choice so now watch I'm that I'm going to play  she can shake your hand and he can jump up some apposite rate here and I want to switch the other camera angle so normally you would bleed and work down here in Final Cut Starman multicam Clipper going to go up and I just want to keep the audio from the from this clip so I'm going to go up here to film strip and now this is where I want to I'm going to switch cameras read here I'm going to go back up here I'm on the film strip so it stuck on a sleigh audience can only select the visual see how just switch the camera angle so I'm going with from the front angle now it switches to stopwatch the sound yeah change so the sound call The Remains the Same  and if I wanted to switch back my cursor is lined up where I happy  and then I'm going to go switch back to this camera  for sound  Anna Leah switch back to this camera what else you like you like riding bikes or your scooter  notice the sound is not as what is here she can cheat so the difference is here on this clip I'm selected on audio she is still selected audio and film strip so we got to keep it on and then if I want this camera have to make sure I'm only on the film strip yeah everyday so do you like Lake riding bikes Okay so Lego sit on that audio my Switchback we just want to switch back for film strip what should I say now  because you're bad at it fast Switchback you sound an audio on this one  how much she's looking at that camera so I want to switch back to that thank you for watching my switch back to that one  so you just go back and forth as you need to but you make sure you're on the sound that you want  so I kind of I think I may have messed up in here see real quick yeah that's good sound about here let's hear it so do you like so notice when I'm here I did make a mistake it's highlighted sound and audio for that particular clip so what we need to do here is just click back actually kamanzi you can just do this you can roll the old clip back and now its watch Play Day  I just cleared it up but if I want to switch to camera now but keep the sound I have to make sure I go like this and now it just kept it has the sound here but the visual here C then again if I want to switch back to the main camera I got to make sure sound and audio and click back now she's going to make sure you're using the proper sound so sorry this is slow and back and forth but it's taking you right through the whole and it's just a lot of practice but this is the way that you would do it for a LTV and everything so practice do the the workshop that we did the filming that you did it's it's just the test and will continue to do this good luck
