Hello my name is Amalia Gomez. I teach Environmental Careers Academy US history and World History. I have graduated with a Bachelor's and a Master's of Education from UCLA. US History is a two semester class required for graduation. The students will learn the California State Standards for 11th grade US History. The student will think critically of the social, political, and economic aspects of US History. The students will engage in critical debate and dialogue about past and current historical events.
