Comfort Zone

I am Esmeralda E. Mora and it's my 13th year here at Leuzinger teaching Chemistry. I hold a California Clear Credential in Chemistry and MA in Educational Management.

My first teaching assignment here in America was at Oakland Unified School District- Oakland High School. This is the district I owe my fate to teach here in the US. Then after a year I moved to Long Beach Unified School District - Jefferson Middle School (First Single Gender School) as Math and Science Grade 7 teacher. Prior to my coming here in the US as an exchange teacher, I taught Chemistry in the Phillippines for 10 years . I barely got the position of an Administrative Officer II of Maloma National High School when I received the notice from Oakland USD for an interview and pre-CBEST in one of the Five Star Hotels in Manila, Philippines. I was lucky enough to land this job.

Thanks to Centinella Valley for sponsoring me. In 2016, I can apply for my US Citizenship.

By the way, I love to cook, sing, shopping, and watch NBA (LAKERS fan plus #1 Westbrook , Russel fan). Name any Filipino dish you like most and I will cook it for you in my own way.

Please feel free to contact me for any question, or concern. But please do not ask for money I am broke.
