Ms. Monique Evans
Welcome! My name is Ms. Evans.
I have been teaching at Leuzinger for seven years. I attended UCLA (Go Bruins!) and got my Bachelors in Mathematics and my Masters in Education from there. I love math, and AVID! As an AVID coordinator, I love helping students succeed. In 2009 I graduated my first class of AVID seniors that I had since their freshman year. All of them are attending college this fall! We had a long, hard journey together, but it was worth it! This year, I am continuing with the Class of 2013!
I spend my very rare spare time working out (yoga, running, and cycling), watching movies, and listening to music (rock, rap, classical, and everything in between).
